Methanesulfonamide is called methyl orthoformate sulfonamide. It is mainly used in pesticide intermediates, pharmaceuticals and other industries. Methanesulfonamide has been produced in large quantities since it came out in the 1990s in my country. The annual constant of methylsulfonamide in recent years has exceeded 4000 tons, so we have great significance in researching and improving the synthesis process of methylsulfonamide.

Most of the domestic production of methylsulfonamide uses insoluble sugar as raw material and concentrated sulfuric acid as a catalyst. After a series of processes such as methanol esterification, reflux, steaming methanol, cooling, crystallization, separation and drying, methylsulfonamide is obtained. However, this series of processes has more production links and higher costs. Therefore, the new process we adopted is based on the insoluble saccharin intermediate as the material, through the amination of liquid ammonia, three-phase separator separation, spin-drying, drying and other processes to produce crude methylsulfonamide. There is still a certain gap in the quality of the crude metsulfonamide compared with the quality required by the market. Therefore, we need to dissolve, decolorize, filter, crystallize, dry, and package the crude metsulfonamide into a finished product.

To prepare methanesulfonamide by the sulfonyl chloride method, linsulfonyl chloride methyl benzoate can be directly used as the raw material, and the crude methanesulfonamide can be made through liquid ammonia amination, three-phase separation, and drying. Then, the crude methylsulfonamide is made into the finished methylsulfonamide through processes such as dissolution, decolorization, crystallization, filtration, and drying. Compared with the preparation method of insoluble saccharin, the use of a new type of sulfonyl chloride method to prepare methanesulfonamide makes the overall process route shorter. At the same time, sulfonyl chloride itself is an intermediate for the production of insoluble saccharin, so it is more important in the production process. Advantage.
